Yea I agree.
But if the senate race would cost Bunning 10 mil, then how much would it cost Paul? 15 mil? 20 mil?
I'll donate the max if I can, but do you really think Paul Jr. could raise that much with the states GOP leadership not supporting him?

Thanks for the tip. I got that feeling from the article as well.
Particularly I didn't understand this paragraph...
The implication, they said, was that Bunning would allow Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear, a Democrat, to appoint his replacement — a move that could give Democrats the 60 votes they need to block Republican filibusters in the Senate.
If Bunning didn't run again, why would the governor appoint his replacement?
