BUMPED, UPDATE 10:25: In his keynote address, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) just called for "sound money" -- evincing cheers from the Paulistas.

Woot!

UPDATE 10:06 a.m. -- David Keene of the ACU just introduced Ed Feulner of the Heritage Foundation. Ed Morrisey is livechatting from Blogger's Row. The Omni Shoreham lobby is full of earnest young Paulistas handing out leaflets for Friday's Liberty Forum with Ron Paul and Andrew Napolitano. Will continue updating throughout the day . . .

Not for nothing but Stacy McCain has been very supportive of both Paul and Schiff! He says he's been an Austrian for many years.

That's great. I've read his blog occasionally.

THanks for the updates.

Before anyone starts researching Congressman Paul Ryan hoping to find liberty...I'll save you some time. He's the worst kind of neocon, talks about how his young kids will have to pay twice the tax when they grow up. But then votes YES on TARP, Medicare Part D, FISA, Patriot Act, etc.

CPAC Straw Poll (http://www.boston.com/news/politics/politicalintelligence/2009/02/romney_tries_fo.html):

This year, the winner will be anointed the very early front-runner for 2012. The ballot includes besides Romney and Giuliani, Florida Governor Charlie Crist, former House speaker Newt Gingrich, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, Texas Representative Ron Paul, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, and South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford. There's also “Undecided” and a space on the ballot for write-ins.
