If media exposure is what we are after,
a debate with Kucinich would be a ticket.

We could fill a football stadium for something like that.

It would pull the rug out from underneath the rest of the GOP pack.

I agree I think this would be great. If no mainstream media wanted to broadcast it then it could be filmed and broadcast online, assured hundreds of thousands of views

very forward thinking idea! I think K would make a good running mate ;) talk about getting the votes.

This would be a foolhardy move at this point.

Thank god I know the campaign would realize that.

I'm more for a Gravel v. Paul debate since a Paul v. Kucinich debate would be no different than the talks they share at the lunch table when Congress is on break.

This is a terrible idea. Gravel and kucinich are viewed as nutcases by mose people. I dont think they are crazy, just a little bit to socialist for my taste(but thier foreign policy is right on the money) . Having one candidate on the verge of becomming "top tier" debating other candidates who are "bottom tier libs" will not help anyone.

My thoughts exactly. We should actually be ignoring him. He is viewed as a joke, at least as running for President. There is no way I would put Ron Paul in that category.

It's just a thought, and there may be reasons why it shouldn't happen,
but with these two candidates representing what about 70% of
the entire population saying about Iraq
it would generate news.

At least it would be more interesting than watching
an Obama-Hillary or Giuliani-Romney Lie festival..

The other thought about this sort of thing is it would
paint Ron Paul as being aggressive rather than passive.
(We know better - its the viewing audience that needs to see this)

As for it being 'a really bad idea' I don't see any logic to support that.

Outflanking the adversaries in surprise tangents is a time-honored tactic.

It might generate news, but news isnt always good news. I have never heard of a dem debating a rep before the primaries.

While this debate may be very interesting for us(and it would be, I would watch it 5 times), it is not in the best interest of getting the sheeple to vote for RP. We need the mindless sheeple, we already have 90% of the thinking population.

90% of the Mensa vote is almost enough for a good joke...

It's a pointless debate if they can't win the nomination in their respective parties.

If they get the nomination or drop out and go Independent than sure.:)
