I pick Obama. It's a lot easier to drone out a moron than a piece of wood mashed into your eyeball with puss and guts coming out of it.

Funny cartoon, but they apparently don't allow hot linking, so you have to copy and paste.

I've been notified that due to the chancellor's speech, American Idol will not be aired tonight.

This country continues to have its priorities all screwed up.

The president is being introduced by Ryan Seacrest, though. So we've got that going for us.

"My fellow Americans, today Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke testified that this economic downturn would start upturning toward the latter part of this year, sending markets upward. This is due to the stimulus bill I signed last week which will put us all to work together to continue building the American dream, a dream of hope, change, and a better tomorrow!" blah, blah, blah...

"Chancellor Obama" wtf?

I wish you wouldn't refer to our CIC that way. No matter what the Constitution may say, he was democratically elected, and that is good enough for me.

I, for one, am not sure it is good enough for him though.

So you are a big fan of democracy, eh?

In response to the OP I chose Obama. Forewarned is forearmed and all that.

I might point out that Hitler was democratically elected to the position of Chancellor as well. Same with Palpatine. :)

Nice to know I'm not the only person who find this supposed golden-tongued Cicero incredibly bland, boring, and obtuse. Listening to him is like chugging a bottle of sugar water.

I decided against shoving a pencil in my eye and am going to run up and down the street waving my "DONT TREAD ON ME" (Gadsden) Flag!!!

Niether, I chose to go to the local ECHL game and just got home as the applause began for the death of liberty. ;)

I watched to make sure he wasn't spewing anymore crap. I wanted to hear the boo's from the republicans and standing ovations from the Obamabots. You have to know your enemy don't you?

Even though I watched the speech, I still voted pencil because it just sounds more appealing.

I'd suppose Obama would love to stick a pencil in your eye, blame it on the free market then tell you he will fix it for you. ;)

the title chancellor implies an eventual potential career that is the fine art of being
a figurehead and/or all around celeb bigwig on the campus of a college or university.

any speach by an ex-potus who is a MAJOR fundraiser and is on or connected to
a college and/or university is not something that impells me to be self destructive...

Hitler was appointed to the position of Chancellor of Germany.

ETA: I have no idea about Palpatine's ascension to power.

Can I shove a salami up my butt instead of the pencil in eye?

Just trying to gauge how much pain I have to take.

Glad you pointed that out. He is evil. He wants to control, wants to brainwash. He is not worth capitalization of his name even. barack obama.

Excellent! Succinct and powerful. Obama must hammer home what he will do for America in every message. The Obama campaign should answer any false or mis-statements and immediately proceed in the same message to state Obama's position.
