The question I've been asking myself is should we go back to a system that was created centuries ago (in 1776) or should we try and shift to a society more like what was presented in Zeitgeist like the Venus Project?

As we know the flaws in humans are such that if we do restore the Republic that we will, at some point, be right back where we are today. Whether that is 100yrs from now or 200yrs from now I don't know.
