Hello John,

I do not intend to use politcal correct here. I am concerned on how to refer yourself and the disability you have. Do you wish to refer yourself as Veteran first?

For instance, would you be comfortable if we use this term to identify you as "Veteran with Disability" rather than "Disabled Veteran"?

IMHO, we should recognize you as a Veteran who took the risk by serving for our country. You are highly regarded for that. We all are grateful for your accomplishment and for what you have done. Think of you on positive side first, then you happened to experience being disabled. It does not mean that you are limited to performing essential job functions. Even you do have a disability in spite of this, you have been using accomodations to assist your daily needs, right?

In my eyes, you are our proud Veteran with disability! :)

You have my support and for all other Veterans with disabilities. :)
