The “Generational Theft Act of 2009,” aka the “stimulus” package, was passed on Friday the 13th of February (how appropriate!) and signed into law last Tuesday, February 17. To commemorate (mourn?) its passage, we will be meeting in front of Kansas 3rd District Congressman Dennis Moore’s offices in Overland Park, KS, this Saturday, February 21, at 10:00am.
The address is 8417 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park (map), and if you’re in the Kansas City area, we would love to see you out there with your homemade signs, letting Dennis Moore know how (as the only Kansas legislator to vote for the stimulus) he has sentenced our children and grandchildren to a lifetime of indentured servitude. Americans for Prosperity will also be joining us for this rally.
