150 million in this country in possession of at least 1 weapon.Even if as many as half of us gave up our weapons,I don't care how many troops the UN could throw at us,if those that resist takeout at least 1 enemy combatant each, you still have a whole lot of ifs.We could have 1 million foriegn troops, and it's still 75 to 1.

Really, it all hinges upon public opinion: Will they passively accept our international overlords, consider them legitimate, and continue to worship the state as they do today? Or will they see through the propaganda, consider a one world government to be an illegitimate body of usurpers, and consider those who surrendered sovereignty to be traitors? The UN has gone to great lengths to cultive a "humanitarian" reputation for itself...will people be able to see through it, or will they naively accept the supposed "inevitability" of centralized one-world rule (based on the historical pattern of consolidation of power) and even desire it?
