I don't buy Glenn Beck.
First, he's PRO WAR. That's as far from libertarianism as you can get.
Second, he comes across as completely fake to me, and seems to just be trying to jump on the Paul/Schiff bandwagon now only because he knows they are right. But he still bows down to his government masters. Ultimately, what he says is just for money.

Here's a quote from this Beck talk: "We will become the people we were on 9/12."

WHAT? You mean idiotically patriotic? This is INSANE. Beck's solution is to vote in "good guys" (i.e. neocon republicans). Bullshit. Take down the whole system, it's worthless, just like Beck.

Yes, not everything Beck says is agreeable, but his progress in turning towards the Constitution is worthy of credit. Of course he has to spew some BS on foreign policy sometimes... If he didn't he would basically sound like Ron Paul and the MSM would never let someone like that have a primetime slot at Foxnews or the #3 radio show in the nation. Beck is a way for the message of the Constitution, even if it is just limited to economics for now, to bypass the gatekeeper of information that is the mainstream media and reach the American masses that are thirsty for that message. Give the man a break.

So you don't think Beck really wants to lose his fame and fortune and learn to farm for his freedom?

How has the constitution brought us freedom?

His message is 98% good. If you want to cry and moan over the 2% jump out the window. Sadly, the people closest to us are also the people we push furthest away because they aren't pure. I see nothing wrong with patriotism, and neither does Ron Paul who wears a flag on his lapel daily.

Any arguments on that subject is cultural brainwashing. The powers that be love that shit and regularly use it to divide Americans. I, personally, am not very religious; but whether the founders based the Judeo-Christan value system of the country is a NON-ISSUE.

Here on these forums we are all Americans well aware that we have been robbed of liberty, we know our social contract with our government has been broken (Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and Federalist Papers), we see our rights trampled on regularly, we know we are being handed an un-Republic form of government, and we are being subjected to fascism, socialism, and bankruptcy WHILE WE ARGUE AMONGST OURSELVES.

I don't see how the "kids" and you arguing that issue is making strides towards regaining our freedom. Christians, Deists, Atheists, Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, and Jedi (moi) it doesn't matter we are ALL fucked if we don't unite and rally to Liberty's defense.
