From Leon Moe, Chief Instigator for MN Sovereignty:

My Fellow Patriots:

Your first assignment, should you choose to accept it is to 1st) send the following to each of the list of state Republican Representatives below to encourage them to co-author bill HF997!! and 2nd) send this message to any and all on your email list and ask them to do the same.

SUBJECT LINE: Please become a co-author on HF 997 (Seifert)

Sample letter. You can insert your own language if you would like. Or just copy and paste the following text. When you click on the Rep links it will come so you can paste the letter into the body and then insert the above in the SUBJECT LINE...

Dear Representative (Insert Last Name):

Please become a co-author on HF 997 (Seifert). This resolution merely assert's Minnesota's sovereignty on the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

The Tenth Amendment states: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

House File 997 merely advises federal judges, the Congress, and the Executive branch not to impose mandates on Minnesota and other states which are beyond the powers of the federal government.

If we are going to get the breadth and weight of federal government under control, we have to stop the weight of "undelegated" mandates from being shifted to state taxpayers.

Your support for HF 997 will be most appreciated. If more than 35 Representatives sign on to that bill, there will be a second bill introduced. If that happens, I will advise you of the new bill number.

Thank you for considering this request, and thank you for supporting the freedom and dignity of the individual and restraint of government powers.

Sincerely,

Great list! Will do.

By the way, does anyone know if there are any conservative Democrats worth writing who might sign on as well?

Nothing wrong with asking them. Leon's rep came right out and told him she didn't agree with that. So get them on the record for being against the Constitution. Or they may surprise you.
