Last night I happened to catch a show called Lie To Me on tv.
They were trying to catchthe person who tried to assasinate some foreign political figure's son at a wedding.
During the show they showed a trio of examples side-by-side of something to look for and it was a shot of Rumsfield talking, Bush talking, and Obama talking.
All three were pretending to scratch their noses with their middle finger (the surreptitious way to to give that particular salute.)
Rumsfield was answering a question about how history would judge Iraq, etc.
Bush, I forgot what the situation was, but...
Obama was actually saying "We value the years of service of John McCain...blah, blah, blah" This was on the campiagn trail and I actually recall seeing him say this while scratching his nose with his middle finger.
What shocked me most was that they used these during the show on network television. Guess they will get cancelled soon. :)
