Some of these people don't seem like the sharpest tools in the shed.

A lot of us have been repeatedly kicked off Free Republic.

As to their sharpness.....the webmaster collects $75,000 every 3 months to keep the site running. https://secure.freerepublic.com/donate/budget .

He prefers sheep.

Thought processes like that "RINOs are better than a Democrat!" landed us where we are today. But to me, that thread shows we've come a long way. There are some Paul supporters in there.

Yeah, the fact that a sleazy grifter like RimJob (http://www.freerepublic.com/~jimrobinson/) can fleece those people into giving him 320,000 dollars each year to run a messageboard says something about that site's membership...and ain't good. Many there truly believe Jim Robinson's "budget" and that it really does take all that money to keep that website running.

Does he really claim that? And just out of curiousity how much does it really cost to run a site like that?
