levis talked like this to us before they moved overseas in 2002.

they claimed they were going bankrupt, but yet we asked how they could spem 30 million dollars for a celeb to appear at a one day event in california plus all this other stuff they were spending money on.

they said that money came from a different part of their budget.

Meh. These bonuses and such are just a drop on the bucket. The vast bulk of the plunder is reinvested (sunk) in the FAILING company. The big bonuses just sound bad--like earmarks--so people harp on them. They're not a root of the problem though. The root of the problem is that the State props up the company and the management with it. The company should go bankrupt and the management should be on the high road altogether, nevermind bonuses.
