There are many many books on my reading list and I just don't know which order to read them in because there are just so many I would really enjoy to read. So it got me to wondering how do you all organize what order you are going to read your books in? Also, do you usually buy your books or go to the library to get your fix? :)

I decide what's most important for me to know first. Then, I set up a list of goals/deadlines. I own many books, and the rest are on my hard drive. If the library was closer, I'd go there regularly. :)

1. Which books are in audio format
2. Which books are free on the net
3. Which hard copy books do I most want to read the most including fiction

Organize? I just read the books I am interested in. I only buy a one or two at a time.

Books??? Man you are sooooooo 19th century!! :p
I go to the library often to find out if I want to buy a book or look into an author, couple of hours on a rainy day is great. I really don't like borrowing books from the library for general reading bc. I like highlighting and writing margin notes for future referencing; plus there's nothing like building your own personal library. As far as what order, I have no order. My taste for knowledge is usually wetted by the previous book I read either by a particular subject touched upon or a citation.
My daughter's subjects in school also have some impact on what I read. For an example, I'm reading Rothbard's "Education: Free and Compulsory" because she's doing a persuasion piece on 'why homeschooling should be legal'. My younger brother who is writing a paper on the media and the free market for one of his college classes is tempting me to look into that subject right now also.
So my advice to you is if something really interests you, go for a couple books on that subject first then narrow your choice down by scanning through the book for the language that you're more comfortable with wieghted also with the content.

I have two books going right now.. one is a great book that is old..copyright 1965 , a compilation of essays from people, north and south, who were involved in the War Between the States, and I'm tellin you, history has been TOTALLY screwed up concerning that war, the reasons behind the war. It was not about slavery but SLAVE POWER. You can google that but there is very little on the internet about it. The concern was that due to the 3/5's of a person, it gave the south more representation in congress therefore more committee appointments and more power. The north was insensed over that. They did not want that to spread to the western territories. So much history has been buried or revised. Incredable. The other book I started was Judge Napolitano's "The Constitution in Exile". Excellent so far. I am also building a Liberty Library. I love books...always have. I am rarely without a book to read. Tones

When do you have time to practice if you're reading that much? ;):) (that's a problem I have myself)
I have ADD so I don't prioritize anything, much less books. I usually am reading half a dozen at a time. At random I will see one of them, say "Ooooohh, pretty!!!" and start reading.
