The Pentagon gets more money the longer the war lasts. So why bother trying to protest on their doorstep?

Josh and I are going to be in Buffalo visiting my parents that week! I'll have to see what Josh thinks, but we can probably spent a couple nights there. It's a 7 hour drive...

I've have been to several of the large protests in the weeks leading up to the Iraq war and a year or to following the invasion.

These things used to draw tens to hundreds of thousands of people. Most of these people are liberals though.

It will be really interesting to see the turnout for this. We will see how many people in the anti-war crowd are just partisan hacks that won't even bother showing up now that Obama is in office.

This may be the first chance that conservatives get to reclaim the anti-war movement from the liberals.
