Why vote for the Bill on Friday the 13th ?!

Is it just me or does this feel like it is one of those historical moments you read about in highschool and years before that had odd dates that people believed played a part in the outcome. I can't help but think that this bill wil fail now and it will be talked about in history books forever as the day america fell or something of the sort. Just interesting to think about. I would have at least waited until monday, let them read the bill etc...

The bill wont fail. But the economy will fail as a result.

The bill won't fail. The economy won't fail. It will either stay the same or gradually improve with the unemployment rate not being so high and less businesses going under and democrats claiming some type of magical Clinton-esque economic revival and Conservatives claiming as they are now that the sky is falling and we are two minutes away from depression.
