View Full Version : Willie Geist of MSNBC, "Ron Paul was robbed"
Morning Joe is a rather political program. How would you describe your own politics?
Since I'm not doing the political analysis around here, I keep my politics close to the vest. My two most recent jobs have been on shows hosted by conservatives, Tucker Carlson and Joe Scarborough, so people make assumptions about me. Those assumptions are not entirely accurate. All I'll say is, Ron Paul was robbed.

It's not about whether or not the heroic Dr. Paul got robbed, something he himself would say, it was about those who worked and donated and supported him who got robbed.

Willie Geist and Tucker Carlson would occasionally play off each other in support of libertarian causes on Morning Joe.

He would know, too, being that he was a major figure on MSNBC for so long and no doubt had to sit in on many of the off-set "smokey room meetings", wherein the pundits and peons would get their orders not to cover RP from the higher ups. I guarantee you Geist has seen things none of us could imagine, and that his words come from first-hand experience.

Mika rarely contribute anyway. I think she may have.... something inside of her, because she only talks when she has some exclamatory remark about something insignificant. "OH!" "uhhhhh....!" "Yeah!" "Hmmmmm" "Ooooh! We're back on the air!" "Okay...."

"On June 26, 2007, near the beginning of Morning Joe, contributor Mika Brzezinski, refused to read a report about Paris Hilton's release from jail. After several unsupportive remarks from host Joe Scarborough, she attempted to burn the story's script on the air, but was physically prevented from lighting it by co-host Willie Geist. She then tore up the script, and one hour later, got up and ran another copy of the script through a paper shredder retrieved from Dan Abrams's office. The incident was dubbed sarcastically by Geist "the journalistic shot heard round the world".
On July 30, 2007, Geist reported on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program that he and Erin Burnett share a birthday. The next day, Geist recanted the previous report, stating, "I told you yesterday that we share a birthday. And you know what? It turns out that Wikipedia, where I get all my information, has let me down again. We do not share a birthday."
Bwahahaha!
There's a chance he's just making fun of you, but who knows?

No, he lost due to his own weaknesses.
No, he lost due to his own weaknesses.
Yep, he should of killed everyone and took over the airwaves 'Network' style.
