No doubt we'll establish a national Ron Paul Award after he leaves us, hopefully after he is 100+ years old.
What about giving state level awards starting this year ? Named after the strongest fighter for liberty who ever lived in your state ?
This annual award will be granted to a patriot, recognized by patriots for dedication to liberty and who best exemplifies, through political, educational, or other action, the award namesake. Nominees will have spent much of their life
Restoring liberty,
Shrinking government,
Reducing taxes,
Abolishing government programs,
Promoting the freedom and independence of citizens, and
Supporting others who abide by the limited, enumerated powers of the U.S. Constitution.
The date of the award ceremony could be the date our U.S. Constitution was signed. Simultaneous award ceremonies across the country shouting, in unison, freedom.
A simple statewide nominee process and vote could determine the award namesake.
We lost a long time freedom fighter in WI this year in a private plane crash. I was just thinking it would be good to do more to start publicly thanking and recognizing some long time patriots while they are still with us, as well as some posthumously.
