I'd be disappointed if he didn't get at least 4 million :(

That might just be the case. We'll probably get no more than 3 mil.

Well, 4 million still stinks. He cannot conduct a nationwide campaign with this pittance. No way. Somehow, we're going to have to raise A LOT more money.

How about auctioning off personally signed Ron Paul books, poster ads, and pocket constitutions, heck he could even sign his signature in section 7?

What would be really cool, is for each meetup to have some kind of sales fundraiser, with a % of sales going to the ron paul campaign.

You know the kind of thing were u go door to door and sell chocolates, you could also promote ron paul while doing it!

Promoting Ron Paul and making campaign money at the same time? Good Idea!

or like a meetup barbeque on a highway where you could sell sandwiches/chicken/drinks/etc , with the profit going to the meetup's war chest or the RP campaign. promoting RP at the same time!

Snyder said it'd take 30 to 40 million for a national campaign. Yeah, I don't see how we can raise that kind of money...

I have a ton of funny responses to this. But none come close to an informed Corn on a stick salesmen.

The money isn't there, unfortunately. I hope I am wrong, but my sources are a little better than yours.

1 million people x $100= $100 million. No proplem we just have to get more Ron Paul supporters.

I imagine it had really high 'predictions' so it was banned. Last thing we want (even worse than a poor Q3 showing) is someone to start saying, "He's got 10 mil" then only cough up 3.

Why is he getting significantly less? How is this possible? I remember there was A LOT of money raised throughout the summer and fall.

it might not be. the bottom line is that we don't know. no one posting in this thread works for the campaign so take what they say with a grain of salt. making guesses right now is worthless because all that matters is the actual thing which we'll know 3-4 weeks.

No one, I repeat NO ONE, on this board has any legitimate evidence as to how much Ron Paul has raised in Q3 thus far. All of this is PURE speculation.

With no disrespect intended for anyone who's posted already. This thread is a joke. While the Q3 numbers may not be what we want, they are not going to be near as bleak as this thread makes it sound.

The last quarter we were all way off. Some said 5 mil, some said 1mil....we ended up making a bit over 2. So, go figure. If there was any 'big timers' waiting in the woodwork, now would be the time for them to show their head and give some big cash.

I think us trying to predict his third quarter is as pointless as trying to predict who's going to win the lottery. There's just too many unknowns and too many variables.

But, since it's a random guess. I'll say $200,000,000,000,000. I can see the headlines (on page 4).
"Long Shot gathers all the money in the world. Polls at 3%."

Nope.

And I'm glad.

The suspense this quarter is more intense than all six seasons of Sopranos combined.:D

I don't care if he made 1 mil or 100 mil, I'm proud of the movement and proud I'm a part of it.

donor burnout, maxed out supporters, people struggling with their own finances, etc would be reasons it would be low. on the other hand, spreading message, more support base and hints from Snyder saying things are going "very well" would be reason to think the opposite. So what im saying is that its like trying to pick whos going to win the superbowl in the year 2030 with todays information.

Of course when Cowlesy gets back from the palm reader, well all know the exact number down to the penny im sure.

After the RP campaign, we need to continue to fund constitutional government, and if anyone wants to run for their state congress or senate, or the U.S congress or senate, we should fund them.

A very strong argument can be made to the effect that Ron is going to do very well this quarter. Again, it's all speculation. But fair speculation none-the-less. We also have to include how much more money the campaign is spending compared to last quarter. So, while donations will be strong. Cash on hand may be lower than expected. At the same time, the flying fish could provide a bump to the housing market in a much needed slump. So, who knows.

Sorry, I've been up a long time.

I don't know who to believe, I don't know what the donations look like, I'm just pressing everyone I know to drop 20 bucks and my wife and I are giving every penny we can spare.
