I wouldn't leave over this. I agree that it was a lighthearted post. I laughed pretty hard at it , truthfully.

But the moderators were just doing their job, and had received I guess a complaint or 2 who thought it was a disingenuous heading. They can't let everyone spam away, so I guess they had to set an example. But anyway, I wasn't offended by the post. I mean why should a red headed dork offend anyone? ANd you have alot of posts, so its not like your trying to cause trouble.

I did the mod on this, there were two issue but only one for the infraction which was the title was reported to be a slander against Dr. Paul, anyone who read the title but did not read the message would of got a really bad impression of Dr. Paul (falsely). I should note, the only reason why “infractions” are used is so that mods won’t duplicate efforts—basically so different mods don’t e-mail the same person over and over for the same thing, with the infraction the other mods can already see the issue is over (which is not possible otherwise without extra e-mail- big pain). So if you get an “infraction’ while it sounds terrible, it’s really pretty benign. The other issue was that it was posted in the Ron Paul subforum which isn’t a reason for an infraction but it will be moved (mods can see it’s already moved). Also, “infractions” are totally private so its not like anyone is being attacked in public.

Sorry that my e-mail was a bit terse in explaining this.
