I was listening to some talk radio the other day and it really got me thinking.

You can really see party politics coming into play all over right now and the people who claim to be "for the country" are really just for their party. When Bush was doing all of his BS the democrats were being the "voices of dissent" and complaining about our civil rights and everything and the Republicans rallied behind him and justified everything and said it was for security, blah blah blah. Now that Obama is in charge, the Democrats are singing a different tune and now the "conservatives" and Republicans are the "voices of dissent" and are saying how Obama is fascist and fascism is coming to the country...........Even though Bush implemented so many executive orders and whatnot that were big government, intrusive and fascist. But the Hannitys and other douchebags didn't care when he was doing it, but now that a Democrat is doing it, uh-oh!

And for those of you thinking "did you just figure that out?" the answer is NO, it just took me this long to put it all into words and really think about it.

It just really disgusts me how even though the new leader is doing the same exact things as the old leader, the guys on each side are switching sides just because the new guy has a D next to his name and the old guy had an R next to his.

This isn't new to me, however, I never paid this much attention to it before. I guess I knew that a mandate for change would not be a change of George Bush's policies that made him unpopular, but a move towards everything evil the democrats have to offer: more govt intrusion in our lives, nanny state galore, green propaganda nightmare, univ healthcare, annhilation of the American Dream, complete revisionist history of what caused the financial crisis and what made America great. To see the conservatives just give their party a free pass for the last 8 yrs, because they happen to be taking a stand now when it is only dog and pony makes me sick. Likewise, for the Dems to care less about crooks like Geithner and Daschle because they have a D in front of their name is inexcusable. It's appalling, and no matter how predictable human greed, fear, and apathy is, it still makes me recoil in shock and disgust at the magnitude in which it occurs.
