Very good video - apparently the ad was extremely effective - look at all those people on TV discussing it. Digg it:

Once again, more bullshit perception of "opposition".

ASK yourself, where was CATO when it MATTERED MOST?

THEY were slandering and ignoring the fck out of Ron Paul.

I present to you, live, back from the memory hole!

"F--k You CATO! I'm cancelling my subscription. " (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=129086)

Edit: Once again though, use this opportunity to direct people to the Mises Institute and LewRockwell.com

I can't stress that enough. When the next bs hits the fan, Cato will be there - to present the right wing (national socialism) agenda. The war issue is off the table atm, that's why they appear sane. Don't fall for it folks, don't fall BACK into the fold. It's an ABYSS.

Note:

No Ron Paul.

AND

They NEVER mention the Federal Reserve. (5th plank of the Communist Manifesto) N-E-V-E-R. They do not consider it a problem.

They are in Washington for a reason. Corrupt scum.

Yeah, Cato is a MUCH worse organization than Mises but unfortunately they are better than the majority of think tanks out there.

All i gotta say is that it made me smile to hear more and more people using logic when they are on TV and telling the people the way shit really is.

Freedom is popular.

I did a search on their site for "Ron Paul".

Are you talking about something other than the newsletters? I checked out some other of their articles that mentioned Dr. Paul, and they were pretty favorable to his policies.

I put this story in front of nationally syndicated host Phil Valentine today and he discussed it in front of a million or more people for a good 10 minutes or so. :D

I watched the pro-Federal Reserve "libertarian" CATO institute chairman advocating forced retirement saving ponzi schemes as he took part in the panel following IOUSA. They are without principles and therefore not worthy of support from anyone who is serious about reclaiming our lost freedoms.

You work for him and put the ad on his desk?

I'm not sure what you mean by that.

This is true, but just like Glenn Beck, they are in the fight now and the enemy of my enemy is my friend....for now.

I'm talking about their attitude in general. BEYOND sub par. They ATTACKED Ron Paul overall, or completely ignored him, WHEN IT MATTERED MOST - during the campaigning and primaries.

Click the link, read the article, then your opinion will mean something.

.. it takes some time to wake up ya know.

It takes some time to realise that when they are based in Washington for a reason, corruption and support of the status quo comes easily, as their prime objective is trying to influence those in power. Principles are discarded like rubbish.
