Regulations suck.
I started this post because it cracks me up that I was just looking at a website that showed 10 cars that get over 40 miles per gallon.
Out of the 10 cars only 2 are available for purchase in the U.S. markets.
What's the main reason?
A lot of the cars run on diesel and it would cost the companies too much to meet all of the government regulations on diesel vehicles. Not to mention the European models are as clean as most hybrid vehicles.
Way to go. Our beautiful tax dollars at work once again.
