New York's GOP urges Giuliani to help them rebound
http://www.lohud.com/article/20090208/NEWS05/902080338/1021

Questions

1. Is anything being done by our grassroots to get this State Republican Chairman Joseph Mondello ousted or replaced?

2. Do we have a CFL candidate and is there any grassroots efforts in this area to nominate a real Conservative?

I really cannot believe this is happening. If people just sit back and do nothing it is very likely this corrupt clueless neocon that is in bed with the nuclear power industry in NY will be the nominee.

it would be funny to see a gubenatorial debate...

moderator Quuestion "what are your best qualitys"

Guiliani reply
"Just like i helped save millions of lifes on 9/11 ill do the same as governor. You know, 9/11 hit me very hard and it was a life changing moment. I was there during 9/11 and ill be there again. I've made hard decisions, just like i did on 9/11, and i know what its like during a catastraphe because i was there for 9/11. In my eyes my best quality is being humble"

Ignorance of the voting populace could put this guy back in office. It has been widely reported Guliani's failures related to 9/11 and his taking a PR job to defend
Entergy the company that owns Indian Point. The perception still remains however that this guy is some sort of a hereo that cleaned up NY since the media did not do enough reporting his failures or putting things in perspective.

For example I hear over and over again about how NYC revitalized in the 90s under Guliani. Little do people realize it was at a time of the largest economic boom in American history that saw cities throughout America revitalized. He just happened to be in office at the time thus is getting the credit for it.

You would think his ignorance as demonstrated in the debates and the convention last year would have be enough to convince these people. The people have clearly spoken at the ballot box that they do not want big government interventionist neo-conservatives. The problem is the voting populace are just too uneducated to realize where their candidates stand on issues.

If they think Ghouliani is the answer then...

ROFLMAO!!!!

Sorry couldn't hold it back...

What a bunch of completely clueless fuckers.
Either they are mentally retarded or they are intentionally throwing the dirt on top of the GOP that has already been thrown in the grave.

Either way. Let em' die. It's a corrupt organization to the core.
Take care of yourself and your family. Get ready to survive.

But Rudy Giuliani, 9/11, Afghanistan!!! Wah....

I live in New Jersey and would actively vote against Giuliani if I could. Hell I think the current governor David Patterson is doing a far superior job especially when it came to filling Hillary Clinton's senate seat with Gillibrand or trying to get the teachers of NY to take a pay cut.

Hell now that I think about it, the Ghoul will probably win since he seems to be more controllable than Paterson and on many issues seems more socialist. I hope the Dems keep running Patterson I really like him, he seems to come through when the pressures up.

I have been a Republican all my life only voting for the red but really this past election was a good kick to the head there really are exceptions to the rule especially when it comes to some of the GOP presidential candidates that ran this year, what was the goal who can be the most socialist to clench the nomination.

I have a hard time beliving Giuliani could get back into power after his epic fail of a Presidential campaign. Still, the best way to sink this guy is to remind voters in his own state of how he turned his back on 9/11 rescue workers and agreed with the Fed. government that it was A-Okay to breathe poison after the event.
