you know, if anything this series really boasts the predictive power of austrian economics. I mean really. This is unreal Ron Paul footage.

"It's a single party (system)". "If the policies never change, what's the difference (between the two parties)?" I agree with you, Ron. ;):) Thanks for the links, OP.

Sounds like a good source for an "even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes" argument.

Yuh. An argument I often hear against libertarians (and conservatives) "being right" about this financial crisis, is that they've been shouting about an imminent economic collapse for decades, and so this most recent recession/depression does not prove that libertarians/conservatives are more reasonable or intelligent than others, only that their "fear-mongering" occasionally lines up with facts, depending on their luck.

I hear ya, and i encounter those types of arguments all the time too, when i debate socialists on Paul's economic credibility.

I guess we just need to show them the FRN vs Gold chart, and explain to them how todays problems are the result of decades of failed policy, not just 8 years.

the press conference economic titanic metaphor is that in 1988 dr. ron paul warned us
about the iceberg field, barack obama's policy sorta begs ramming the one immediately
in front of us to ride up on the same or fragment the same, and the g.o.p assumes as
did the poor captain all they have to do is slightly swerve to be free and as we know,
riding along the side of the same said iceberg shall pop the rivets like rifle bullets out
of the steel plating and sink each & every side compartment impacted and the ones
next to the damaged compartments. again, avoiding the iceberg lanes begs a question...

Ron Paul was and is warning about flaws in the design and construction.

Ships the size of Titanic should be able to hit an iceberg full steam and not care. Just as economy should be able to handle a large bankruptcy or some sectors bubble bursting.
