London Telegraph's Blackjack Series

The London Telegraph is currently running a very strange series of comics in their paper and on their website. It has three parts so far, and is called "Blackjack." It depicts nuclear attacks against several American and European cities resulting in martial law, concentration camps, and a North American Union. The NAU government nukes China, Syria, and Iran who supposedly carried out the attacks (though it's strongly implied that this is not the case).

I'm not sure if this is true, but others online claim they can't find out any information from the London Telegraph about what this comic means or who the author/artist is. What do you guys think? Viral marketing? An omen or warning of some sort?
