Gregg's seat is a hot commodity. That won't be an incumbent there either.
I'm just not into it this time. It is practically impossible to dethrone them.

I don't know what to make of Coburn. He gave the best speech of any senator against the first big bailout--then voted for it. He's been like that all along. But, in any case, there are rumors he won't run for reelection anyway...

He didn't get a majority in the Presidential primaries. I think Barry Goldwater, Jr. should run for the seat myself, but that is just me.

There MUST be a Republican in New Hampshire who can take up the fight. Otherwise it's all Paul Hodes (but then at least we can fight for his Congressional seat).

The only Senate races on the list worth pursuing, from an open seat / higher percentage point of view is Illinois (run a RP Democrat to beat Burris), Kansas (run a RP Republican to replace Brownback), and New Hampshire (run a RP Republican if Gregg is not going to re-up---perhaps James Forsythe?). Goldwater Jr. would be interesting against McCain, but my guess is that AZ will retain Mac. The House seats should be sorted out the same way. Unless an incumbent has Eliot Spitzer, Ted Stevens, or Blago level problems, stick with the open seats and try to win the major nomination of the party the area leans towards.

support Peg Luskik. I think Toomey is a neocon. In the C4L forum, pennsylvania part, there is a discussion about Luskik and she seems like a Constitutional Republican conservative

For NH, Don Gorman is an amazing individual who would be perfect for the seat. He served four terms in the state house, he has great charisma, and an awesome New England accent. He is part of the libertarian party at the moment, but if he can be convinced to run, he can probably be convinced to do it under the GOP moniker.

These are the best people to get to cosponsor S 604- they want something that looks good for the electorate.

Even JIM DEMINT???
No, I would rather have him in office than some RINO like Lindsey Graham.

I'm just not into it this time. It is practically impossible to dethrone them.I so hear you. Leahy's an establishment unto himself. You'd never guess he used to be a Deadhead. Then again maybe you would.
These are the best people to get to cosponsor S 604- they want something that looks good for the electorate.I started my siege on Leahy today. He had the nerve to say on a local radio show that he hasn't signed onto 604 because Bernie Sanders hasn't asked him. I've been feeling a little burnt out and disgusted with everything lately but that just pissed me off.
