I became libertarian party BECAUSE the prevailing philosophies didn't make me rich (quite the opposite, in fact.). If the looney right hijacks "libertarian", I'm going to anarcho-capitalist. (if I'm pressed to give myself a simple label, which I loathe) TPTB are usually scared of "anarcho" anything. ;):)

I'd rather take from them and pay to the middle/lower class.

As for the question I count as the "just scraping by", well a little above it.

I don't make much, although that is a choice as I could move to a big city and probably make 50% more than I do now, but I also don't spend much and therefore have plenty of money for saving each month. Since I have low needs, I feel like I can basically buy anything I want. So even though I make little money, I'd consider myself "making it"

I live in suburbia, I work in NYC, I am raped by the state and federal by taxes, car insurance, and expenses. I am scraping by... I want to move.

Made 111k last year and I have never felt poorer. I think supporting a family might have something to do about it. After the bills I might have enough money maybe 1000 dollars a month to do with as I please unless the old lady doesn't spend it. Now I work offshore meaning I do not have access to my money while I am gone so it usually gets spent by the significant other before I even get home.

So you know I am not attacking that you are richer than I, or begging for you to share your wealth. I am making a point that WE come from all spectrum yet have the same belief. that alone should show that OUR reasoning has nothing to do with class, or wealth. We only want to do whats right, what is fair to all, and what will help our country to get back on its feet.
