A RESOLUTION affirming States’ rights based on Jeffersonian principles.

Whereas the Constitution of the State of New Hampshire, Part 1, Article 7 declares that the people of this State have the sole and exclusive right of governing themselves as a free, sovereign, and independent State; and do, and forever hereafter shall, exercise and enjoy every power, jurisdiction, and right, pertaining thereto, which is not, or may not hereafter be, by them expressly delegated to the United States of America in congress assembled; and

Whereas the Constitution of the State of New Hampshire, Part 2, Article 1 declares that the people inhabiting the territory formerly called the province of New Hampshire, do hereby solemnly and mutually agree with each other, to form themselves into a free, sovereign and independent body-politic, or State, by the name of The State of New Hampshire

They're just aping Oklahoma, and the Feds haven't come gunning for us yet. Nice hyperbole, though...

Can America afford a civil war?

We certainly couldn't afford the two we started in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Can America afford a civil war?

Our current leaders probably think it will get us out of our economic recession.

It would probably help. After all, what we really can't afford is tptb!

LOL - maybe cheaper to have a civil war then let OB destroy the economy?

I know bad of me!

It will be a fine day when the Federal Government dissolves into nothing when States start taking back their respective rights.

I recall from my childhood TV education that knowing is half the battle. Our side knows what's up so we'd get a 50% civil war discount.

Their side pays full price.

Arizona has the same bill.

I'd rather move to a warmer climate.

120F in the shade is unquestionably too much of a good thing! That said, parts of Arizona don't have that problem--and those parts are some of the prettiest country anywhere.

Just bring your own water...

Hot low humidity climates are not as bad as hot high humidity climates.
I love the desert and the heat it has. As dry as it is, the perspiration evaporates fast enough to do what it is supposed to do.

Oh, trust me--I know! We used to have a low humidity climate back in my mom's day. Now we have dammed up every river and stream at least once each, and wound up with more miles of shoreline that any other state--even the coastal states! The result: When you sweat you wear it. Sucks.

Did in Oklahoma. Don't think it's that far along in these two states yet.

It would be nice to see how a single international boarder state as a self functioning entity. The TAX system would be interesting.

which states are fleeced and welfared in US TAX dollars:

http://www.nemw.org/fundsrank.htm (http://www.nemw.org/taxburd.htm)

$1 in federal tax returned in federal spending to each state:
Top 3
Mississippi 2.02
New Mexico 2.00
Louisiana 1.85

I don't think these FED welfare states will ever succeed.

Bottom 4
New Hampshire 0.75
Connecticut 0.73
Nevada 0.67
New Jersey 0.65
You figure New Jersey would succeed from the union since they receive the lowest return on each dollar sent to Washington DC. Oh I forgot, NJ is a Ultra Socialist state of voter ignorance. maybe NJ should channel all that EXCESSIVE Estrogen and Testosterone in education. :p

This is sadly, just a myth-speaking as a born-and-raised Arizonan. :(:p

Yes, Northern AZ is beautiful! :) I wish they had put the big cities THERE instead of the low desert. :p:mad:

Yeah! Lets pick some nice terrain thats easily defensible so that well won't get slaughtered after secession. Lets pick New Hampshire instead of say, Alaska. That way we are easily accessible, and its nice and compact so there is nowhere to run to or from in the event of a war dragging out.

Wow, maybe we should all move to New Hampshire.

Wow. What a novel idea. You should start a website and have people signup online with an agreement that when you reach a certain number of people, everyone will move there...

Hey, waitaminute? Haven't I seen that somewhere already???

They need a new website and need to advertise in Patriot/Conservative/Libertarian/Constitutional circles.

Can we afford NOT to have one???

This fight is long over due.

What really will get Washington DC to stop???

Perhaps a knowledgeable RPFer knows how to contract with Arab terrorists to destroy Washington?;)

They're just aping Oklahoma, and the Feds haven't come gunning for us yet. Nice hyperbole, though...I'm still a big fan of Oklahome=a for taking the initiative and setting a precedent. I wish Vermont legislators would grow some cajones. 2010 isn't soon enough. I'm ready for some action now.

Ummm... If anyone in the Patriot/Conservative/Libertarian movement hasn't heard of the fsp that's their own fault. The fsp has a lot of brand recognition but no product. We'll see if this new legislation amounts to anything.

Let's hope it's mostly theirs...

It appears New Hampshire is not alone! I plan on sending email to my state gov and suggest they do the same - they are amongst 13 other states resisting the NWO so might as well join these guys - and thats more power to the people!

I'd really like to think that no one would stand for people being murdered simply for exercising their constitutional rights, but we all know how that goes.
