It is obvious from some of the posts on here that some people are voting more than once in online polls. I am a Ron Paul supporter and I know his support is real. But it seems like people are inflating the online poll numbers a bit.

Ron Paul supporters are often called spammers and some one might call us on this.
Here is how:

Set up an online poll.
Allow unlimited voting
Track votes by IP address.

Then all they would have to do is show candidates by percentage of multiple votes from the same IP address. If Ron Paul was getting spammed votes they could post the results and say "Haha, Ron Paul's supporters really are spammers." This would be really easy to do and I just don't want to see it happen.

All I am saying is be honest with the online polls

Speaking for myself I don't vote more than once in any poll, regardless of whether I am able to or not. If we are to win, the numbers must be real.

I don't vote in polls often, but when I do I always try to vote as many time as I can - is this cheating???

Most of these polls a set up to be able to vote only once. Nothing to be careful about - keep voting people! It was proven you could only vote once in the latest Fox GOP debate text vote and RP won with a landlside 33%.

Keep voting. The fact is RP keeps winning these polls because he has more passionate supporters than any other candidate who are willing to vote for him and I say we keep it that way.

Yeah, if someone who has never heard of RP sees he won some online poll with 89% of the vote, they might be suspicious - BUT I bet it gets them to start looking into RP, and we all know once people Google and YouTube RP, and unless they ara a true neo-con or a socialist, they fall in love with his message.

I'm sure that a lot of people vote for their candidate more than once. Especially if they are way behind. No big deal. But I am taking about say three times. Not sitting there and doing it like a hundred.

But there are programs that allow you to repeat the same action over and over. "Bots" They will refresh your browser and repeat the same action over and over again. This is more what I am referring to. Web admins could catch this pretty easy if they are looking for it. You can even spoof your IP if you are savvy enough, this is hard to catch, but pretty dishonest.

My point is I don't want to see an article that proves that a poll has been spammed in Pauls favor. So be honest.
