Quick question...

Do we have the right to our Medical Records file? Meaning, can I walk into my Doctor's office and request my file and take it home with me? I only ask because of the new bailout that gives money to medical facilities to upload all of our medical records to computers. I'm hoping to pull mine out before the whole world can see my medical history.

I don't think so. I know when I've needed records for my kids when changing docs I could only get copies and I had to pay for those if I wanted to walk out with copies in my hand instead of faxed to another doctor.
