when is that? how many hrs away from your exact posting.

Australia just created a C-Span channel.

Called A-PAC (Australia Public Affairs Channel) in affiliation with C-Span, so at night, C-Span gets shown, and eventually A-PAC will be shown on the US C-Span.

So how long away? :D

Very nice (and very fast) 30 mins session on C-SPAN. I agree with the others who say that he is on fire this week.

He has really polished his presentation of his philosophy. I remember at the very beginning of his campaign he wasn't quite as slick in his words, but his ideas always resonated. Now he has been able to match the truth of his ideas with the beauty of words.

I really shook my head at some of those callers today, they are reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally misinformed about economics and Ron Paul's positions. I sensed quite a bit of partisanship in the callers, and lumping together and guilt by association.

There was one caller who brought up 1992, and I thought he was going to bring up something about newsletters. I saw Dr. Paul's brow sort of go up, probably wondering what the hell the caller would say.

All in all, a great interview, he really expressed himself (and my views) quite well, in the face of ignorant and naive callers.

Yeah the callers into CSPAN are really something. Especially with RP. You either get some usual joe sixpack ranting about things they know nothing about, or you get some crazed RP fanatic who makes a fool of themselves and RP ranting nonsense =)

For some reason cspan callers are the worst. But yeah ron dealt with that last question beautifully. Most people dont even understand that they are preaching pure marxist socialism and they think they will continue to be free.

Well.. I had to record it on the HDD, on the tv. Then burnt it to a dvd. Then upload with this ancient computer, then encode it after splitting it up into 10min segments. Each takes awhile. :o

And my slowness/care factor is controlled by the assessment that, someone out there shld be able to just record straight to their comp and smash it together in a few min, with coding etc from a superemly fast machine.

*shrugs* I'll keep going until it gets on dailypaul or lewrockwell.. lol

I think it's funny that we live in an age where people are disappointed that it takes a whole hour for a live interview to be recorded and made available for repeated viewing by the entire world. Ten years ago that simply would not have happened at all, much less within an hour.

A note about that socialist caller: I think we need to reach out to people like her. They're much closer to joining us than we might realize. She's clearly anti-establishment. She's clearly disappointed with the way things have been going. She definitely wants the big corporations to have less influence over society. All it would take to get her to join our ranks would be to convince her that big government is the driving force behind the consolidation of power to a few elite members of society, not the solution to the problem.

Dropped out of school Jan '07 to volunteer full time for the RP campaign - gave close to 2 years of my life to this... like 36 hour days! Landed in the hospital twice because of that "lifestyle" too!

slightly dated list follows:
Groups I started/ran or in a few cases just inherited/own...
Meetup Organizer: Ron Paul National Organizers Group (511), Maryland Ron Paul Meetup Organizers Group (637), Catonsville, MD Ron Paul 2008 Meetup Group (13), (158 – will be transitioned back into a National organizers group in one week) Adopt a Meetup project. Congressional candidates Meetup and a couple of others...
Yahoo Group Owner: RPMeetupOrganizers, RonPaulGrassRootsAction, RonPaulGraphics, RonPaulWriters, RonPaulSocialNetworks, RonPaulVideoPosters,
Yahoo Group Co-Owner: Ron Paul Moderators Group, RonPaul2008 and 43 of the state groups.
Websites: ronpaulrecipes.com and a project in development. Operation Cat Herder. Skills bank, Grass roots field manual, Cat wrangler project, etc, etc...
Project participation: Advokit/Astrik, Bands4RonPaul (current owner), networking technical and specialist skills with projects, national organizing efforts and several other things including organizing the Thanksgiving flier project that distributed 50 thousand fliers across MD and lesser quantities across the country. Organized the fund raising and arraigned for a sky sign (Aerial LED banner) to fly over the Florida debate. Helped with the rotating banner project.
etc.

And what have you done for the movement?

good points. In a few instances during the interview , Ron did a great job of reaching out to all stripes and making the point that the message was a human message, not a right or left one. great stuff.

Normally with us, it's up fast or it never is. Used to be, it was allways up fast - we are slipping...

In the early days we had tons of Dem supporters - well, that was before Paul went on his pro-life agenda... percentages dropped after that. But yeah - they are not that far from us. That we didn't counteract the negative propaganda against him is a reason many of them don't know what he really stands for.

Ron is guilty by association now...because he is a republican.

when Ron was running you heard narry a peep about spending from the GOP, because we spend the most on the worst things. like bombs.

now that the "people" are gonna get sum CHEESE they are all behind the new "movement" and hate on anything that gets in the way of their agenda.

He joined the fight because of price controls by Nixon.

This whole Obama thing is going to be a lot worse.

In his shoes, I really can't see him - laying down and not running for 2012.

What's he going to do, sit at home and try avoid the news etc. ?

He has a right to do what he wants with his life... but seriously, I can't picture him not running.

Reagan was 76 when in office. EVEN if he has no chance, it's all about spreading the message. He's heading for the History books.

Jeezus. Dumb Americans are the ones with the biggest opinions, don't these people have any shame when they spout their nonsense? Talk about false knowledge. That last lady probably read a Naomi Klein book and now she thinks she's an intellectual who can stand up to Dr. Paul

Peasants in other societies don't voice their opinions in public because they know they're stupid and uneducated and illiterate, and that they'll be laughed out of the room. Not so in America. Everybody's got an opinion, and 95% of them are wrong.

It was painful to watch this, but watching Dr. Paul's comebacks made up for it...he was even funny here, he knew he was dealing with idiots.
