Let’s also look at Ron Paul’s supposed leadership.

He disagreed vehemently with Bush when Bush was president. But it was Chuck Hagel who was the poster-child of anti-Bush Republicanism, not Paul.

And I have to think that Paul is against Obamanomics. But why is he not leading the charge against him? Where has he been since this bailout mania started?

Ron Paul only seems to show leadership when he’s running for president.

What say you?

Isn't RP the only former republican presidential candidate that is regularly interviewed by the MSM about the economic mess.

RP is usually the lone voice of dissent when the rest of congress votes for unconstitutional bills. :);)

Chuck Hagel was a senator. There are 100 of them.
Ron Paul is a congressman. There are 535 of them.

Who gets more say? 1 out of 100 or 1 out of 535? The math is not that hard.

Umm...Who said they would let him if he wanted to? Besides, if he is trying to defeat Ron Paul's philosophy, he is using argumentum ad hominem, a logical fallacy.

Hagel voted for the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq in Oct. 2002.

On August 18, 2005, Hagel became the first Republican U.S. senator to publicly criticize the Iraq war and to call for withdrawal.
At least he came around, finally, but that certainly doesn't make him better than the man who was right all along.

Failure to disclose involvement with electronic voting firm

For the first ten weeks of 1996, Hagel served as chairman of American Information Systems (AIS), a voting machine company which later changed its name to ES&S.
Interesting stuff at the link...and he unexpectedly won an election in 1996 as well...

In 1996, Hagel ran for the US Senate against Ben Nelson, who was the governor of Nebraska at the time. Although many people believed he had no chance of winning, he won an upset, receiving 54% of the votes

In June of 1999, Hagel attended the annual Bilderberg meeting in Sintra, Portugal.

And he's CFR.

Here's Paul's page, btw. Looks like it could use some editing from us. ;)

The biggest critics of Paul act like they never heard the man speak.

It's a debate topic on myspace, check it out.
