a plump $435,000 severance payment from his old employer – the Federal Reserve Bank of New York."

The new disclosure filing showed that Geithner earned $411,200 in wages last year in his former job
as president of the New York Federal Reserve Bank. He also received a severance payment from the bank totaling $434,668.
I guess he will be watched pretty closely, and while it looks like it is more of a cash out of a retirement account,
it does show he doesn't seem to have too much confidence in where he's leading us.
