He can speak about Civil Liberties - Patriot Act, Constitution, NAU, SPP, Border security, Fed resereve, income tax - you name it - Bil Mmoyers has a clear soft spot for this kind of crazy talk!:)

Have you seen Ron's previous interview by Bill Moyers? Moyers gave his near endorsement, but has since acted like it never happened. It is worth watching, I'd like to see him appear on the show again and will send some feedback.

No I didnt see it - can you post the link? Why do you feel Moyers is acting that way - if anything Id say with what he has focused on lately - it leads to RP.....he just had Bruce fein on about the unitary executive and Patriot act etc....

Thanks - yeah they are very differnt but check out teh recent bill Moyers videos on the Constitution with Bruce Fein - its was amazing.....they are found at www.billmoyers.com

Well I'm glad there was some confusion, I searched youtube and Moyers actually did interview Ron back in 2002.

Moyers is a Great Society Liberal. He knows about the ills of the Military Industrial complex, but he wont shrink the social programs.

He's changed his mind about a lot of things since he worked with Johnson. He's no libertarian, but I would still trust him at a high position in the government.

And by the way, I just watched the rest of the interview... everybody on this forum needs to watch this interview and show it to others. Ron Paul makes some of his best arguments against the war and it hadn't even started yet.

Bill Moyers and PBS had a special called "Buying the War", which is really good. The entire documentary can be found in ten different parts on youtube. Sorry, I don't have the time to post the links.

I thought he would be great on this program! Let's fill their email with our request. It's so nice to hear an interview with substance instead of the talking heads like Hannity or Bill-O screaming like children to up their book sales.

I'm torn where Bill Moyers is concerned. On one hand I really, REALLY like the guy and think he's got a lotta guts for exposing the war. On the other hand, he is also a Council on Foreign Relations member and attended the 1973 Bilderberg Group meeting. There are some people in these groups who genuinely think they're doing the right thing by being members of these groups, so the toughest thing for me is trying to decipher if Moyers is one of the good guys trying to take the elite down from the inside, or if he's a media gatekeeper for well-meaning anti-war activists.

Is CFR a cult and Bill Moyers took a pledge? He may be unaware of all they do.

Bill Moyers is a target of Fox and BO hit pieces. There's a reason they go to the effort of discrediting him on tv.

HE may be CFR and evil but for whatever reason he is exposing soem of these issues - LETS USE THSI WINDOW - Please email him.......I think that there are always groups within groups and just b/c you may go to a few meetings and be a pawn at a lower level does not mean you are IN on all the deception and behind the scenes crapola.

Its good to be wary but even if he is just a liberal socialist - he then cant be foe what is going on.....so just b/c he wouldnt vote for RP doesnt mean that they dont share some common values that the we would all like to see promoted! Also things change peopels ideas change - mine did!
And if he is a nasty CFR-bot then lets USE him!

It might be because Moyer's figures his endorsement wouldn't help Paul persuade republicans, and might even hurt his chances.

Also, it's a bit much to expect an outright endorsement from anyone claiming to be a journalist. They usually want to maintain at least an illusion of objectivity.
