A marriage can be percieved in either civil or legal terms.
In a civil marriage, the two sides become equal in that they become one.
In a legal marriage, a corrupt power divides the two sides into individual competitors.
As being equal as husband and wife is an example of a civil marriage, being a pimp and a whore is the tyranny that results from the long standing traditions of legal marriage.
In the end, the truth is what is the most important in a civil sense while what we do as a result of knowing that truth becomes the legal precedence which damns us.
The American burden is to establish a Civil-Purpose which supercedes all legal precedence whether such existed as past traditions; or, whether they will exist as yet future occurences. This Civil-Purpose is that natural-law which is self-evidently true and unalienably a natural-right for every human soul. In turn, a natural-law is indestructibly sovereign.
