View Full Version : Why is the GOP helping Democrats impose more socialism?

The GOP ought not aid and abet in any of the Democrat’s socialistic/big government agenda legislation. If Republicans in Congress sell their vote for a few crumbs of compromise under the Democrat’s proposed stimulus legislation, which is really a plan to usher in more iron fisted socialism, then every member of the Republican Party who votes in favor of the Democrat’s plan, will be as guilty of ushering in more socialism as the Democrat Socialist Party leadership itself.

What the Republican Party leadership ought to be doing is challenging the Democrat Party leadership on specific ways in which working people can be immediately relieved of some of the economic burdens they now suffer, especially those created by government. The Republican Party leadership ought to take themselves to the air-waves [radio and TV talk shows] and point out that if the Democrat’s plan were intended to help working people, rather than entrench more government administrators and employees with outrageous federal salaries and benefits to redistribute the wages which working people earn, the Democrat Party leadership would begin with ending the slavish tax upon the property which a hard working father living in Harlem, South Philly, Newark, N.J., Washington, D.C., etc., has in his labor. How dare the Democrat Party leadership perpetuates a tax upon the wage which working people earn which enslaves the many to enrich the few.

Ending federal taxation upon earned wages, which were never intended to be taxed as “income” under the Sixteenth Amendment, could be made up by a federal luxury tax laid on specifically chosen articles of consumption.

For a recent application of this tax see The Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990 (http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c101:H.R.5835:http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?c101:4:./temp/~c101exSUxe) click on 4. “Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990 (Enrolled as Agreed to or Passed by Both House and Senate)[H.R.5835.ENR]”, after which you may scroll down to TITLE XI--REVENUE PROVISIONS, and then click on :
PART III--TAXES ON LUXURY ITEMS

`SEC. 4001. PASSENGER VEHICLES.

There is hereby imposed on the 1st retail sale of any passenger vehicle a tax equal to 10 percent of the price for which so sold to the extent such price exceeds $30,000.

`SEC. 4002. BOATS.
There is hereby imposed on the 1st retail sale of any boat a tax equal to 10 percent of the price for which so sold to the extent such price exceeds $100,000.

`SEC. 4003. AIRCRAFT.
There is hereby imposed on the 1st retail sale of any aircraft a tax equal to 10 percent of the price for which so sold to the extent such price exceeds $250,000.

`SEC. 4006. JEWELRY.
There is hereby imposed on the 1st retail sale of any jewelry a tax equal to 10 percent of the price for which so sold to the extent such price exceeds $10,000.

`SEC. 4007. FURS.
There is hereby imposed on the 1st retail sale of the following articles a tax equal to 10 percent of the price for which so sold to the extent such price exceeds $10,000:

But I believe Obama and the Democrat Party Leadership will do everything imaginable to keep the tax on working people’s paychecks alive because it is a tool used to keep working people poor, and dependent upon government for the necessities of life. And this does not even take into account how the slave tax on earned wages is used to control the very lives of working people, and used to manipulate business and industry to government’s advantage, not to mention how it is used as a weapon against those who would dare speak out against the Democrat Party Leadership.

So, why does Obama and the Democrat Party Leadership want to keep alive a tax which taxes the earned wages of hard working fathers living in Harlem, South Philly, Newark N.J., S.E. Washington, D.C. etc., if Obama really cares about these hard working people?

If we can make 51 percent of America’s population dependent upon a federal government check, we can then bribe them for their vote, keep ourselves in power and keep the remaining portion of America’s working population enslaved to pay the bills ____ Our Marxist Democrat game plan, a plan to establish a federal plantation and redistribute the wages earned by labor.

The American people need to organize a three million American patriot march on Washington to take back their government, preferable on July 4th, 2009. In the process, they should also build enough stockades on the Washington Mall to put every turncoat Republican member of Congress in for aiding the Socialist Democrat Party leadership. And, the American People should start filling the stockades with Republican members of Congress who tried to cram the open border legislation down the American People’s throats which includes the king of turncoats McCain! In addition, those who voted to tax working people’s earned wages and then hand them over to the federal reserve banking cartel like Senator bailout the banks McCain (http://www.boston.com/news/politics/politicalintelligence/2008/10/mccain_says_hel.html) need to have first dibs in the stockades.

It's time for the American people to wake up and end government robbery of working peoples earned wages!

The GOP is helping those yellow dogs impose more socialism because they imposed enough socialism themselves that their voters got sick to death of them, and now they aren't in a position to do it themselves. How long until this spirals? Just about the time people figure out there's no terrist under their bed?

All I can say is it is very lonely being a libertarian these days. The republican party and the democratic party are both socialists. The ONLY difference is who they give OUR money to.

There are some good apples in the barrel.... Ron Paul being one. The good guys are SORELY outnumbered. Very sad when I think about it.

And here are our ten tyrannical establishment brown nose Republicans who voted to approve a king pin of America’s privately owned Federal Reserve Banking cartel, Timothy the tax cheat Geithner (http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2009/01/geithner_should_not_be_secreta.html) for Treasury Secretary of the United States:

Sen Richard C. Shelby of Alabama

Sen Lindsey Graham of South Carolina one of the slickest turncoats of all!

Sen Michael D. Crapo of Idaho

Sen Olympia J. Snowe of Maine

Sen John Ensign of Nevada

Sen Judd Gregg of New Hampshire

Sen George V. Voinovich of Ohio.

Sen Bob Corker of Tennessee

Sen John Cornyn of Texas

Sen Orrin G. Hatch of Utah

When will the American People realize Congress has become one of America’s most formidable domestic enemies?

Laurence Vance on the Republican revolution.

The Republican Revolution failed because it was not based on any real principles.

Contrast this with the Ron Paul Revolution, which continues unabated because it is based, not on empty Republican rhetoric about the benefits of the free market and the need for less government intervention, but on the bedrock principles of peace, nonintervention, economic freedom, personal liberty, sound money, and a drastically limited state. Any Republican who really believes in these principles should abandon the GOP’s sinking ship of war, statism, and fascism.

Huzzah for Lawrence Vance.
