THIS is what we're dealing with, folks. This random sampling of Americans sadly represents at least 60% of us, composed of the ignorant masses out there who don't even know there's AN ELECTION NEXT YEAR, let alone who they're going to vote for.

If they don't know when the next election is, I guess we don't need to worry about who they are voting for... right?

Did you see the Britney Spears debacle on TV the other night? And I hear Ashlee Simpson is dating that bisexual nut job from Fall Out Boy. I see that tight-fitting fashions are back in this fall...

WOW!!! That is a must-see!!!

I was undecided about school vouchers before, but this has tipped the scale. And, with a 14-year-old sister in public school, I can attest to the fact that these kids really AREN'T learning anything, except how to goof off. Not that goofing off in school is bad, but there should usually be learning involved! :D

Another reason I'm going to be homeschooling my kids... this is so shameful it's freaking pathetic.

My point was, that those same girls would know everything about the "topics" I posted...

And it wasn't about how Spears LOOKED, but how she...er...um..."performed".

I love my fatty too. But she aint so smart. Bad upbringing has given her a very low EQ, though her IQ is rather high.

What do you guys expect? These girls are products of government progra...er schooling. Our government doesn't want smart people who will fight for their freedoms, call congressmen, protest, critically think....ect. Government schools do not encourage questioning authority. If they did encourage all these things then they would lose power.

I'll let George Carlin explain the phenomena you are seeing in those videos.
George Carlin: education and the owners of America (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccYoVnBc_fk)

I'm 18 and a product of homeschooling, self-schooling, Sudbury School (http://www.sudval.org/), and public schooling.

I learned the most important things while out of public school. The most important thing I learned in public school was how to read and that was a long time ago...I could have done it out of public school i'm sure.

Agreed. Thanks for the link to your school. Look into it for my boys.
I am currently reading Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman. Maybe some children are screwed emotionally by their uninformed parents before the child reaches school age.

Good post

Good post

If you're lucky enough to have a Sudbury School model around your area then I would highly recommend taking a tour of the place and talking to the kids there.
