Why's that?

1) Because I will not waste my money on a "reluctant" candidate who does not want to campaign as hard as the other candidates. I wasted $2300 on the campaign before I heard Ron admit that he was a "reluctant" candidate. Ron must not be reluctant this time-- Be glad to donate.

2) Given Jesse Benton's alleged performance problems in coordinating media for the campaign, I've decided that I will not contribute to a future campaign if he is involved in it. I'd rather have faith that the campaign is fully competent to work the national media, so I can focus on worthwhile canvassing (i.e. so I do not get the response like I did this time, "who?"). Therefore I'd be glad to donate if he is not involved.

Sorry, I am and will always be a huge supporter of the good Dr., but I am not going to contribute to his next presidential campaign until he promises to run it in a much more serious fashion. The last campaign succeeded in spreading his message, but was not competitive in any primaries and did not stand up to the media or the GOP (partly because Ron Paul is a class act). Next time around, the actual campaign had better run like a military unit, and get results. Let the grassroots do their thing, and I will help on that end, but I expect better things from the candidate's organization.
