You know what is really sickening? All the arguments the administration is using now for why we need to stay in Iraq are the same argument all the opponents of the war used for why we shouldn't go in there in the first place. How did this country ever sink so low as to elect a President and an administration who apparently have absolutely no integrity whatsoever and no sense of shame or decency. You know, I could probably work up some tiny bit of grudging respect for these people if they had the integrity to say "Yeah, we made a mistake. We thought we were doing the right thing, but we made a mistake." I guess the reason they won't do that is that they didn't, in fact, make a mistake. They took us to war deliberately and dishonestly simply without caring particularly how awful the outcome would be. They like to go around saying how dissenters "hate America". Well, it is apparently these guys who actually hate America and everything it stands for.

The mainstream media is the conduit that perpetuates this mindless crap. It is almost like having an out of body experience or watching a movie knowing the ending will draw to a inevitable sickening conclusion. It matters not that 70% want us out of the Middle East. The bought media and politicians no longer represent the majority and the majority is too apethetic to care.
