and he does a half assed job of it at that. They'll get out in a few months, but they're still criminals and still have to pay fines, etc..

Interesting he waited until his last day - while allowing these men to continue to rot in jail - to grant a commutation. More proof that doing good and just actions goes against Mr. Bush's true nature. I'm sure he was pressured into the act by his handlers desperate to shine some good light on the last days of a dismal, destructive eight years.

I think it's great Dubya commuted these two heroes' sentences, but if its done solely for his "legacy" then it's too little, too late. Besides, those men never should have gone to prison in the first place. Also, Bush didn't go far enough. They should have been given full pardons, and set free as soon as the order was signed.
