CT was deemed necessary because it will be a national campaign. Unlike a typical senate campaign, Schiff's will likely garner support from all 50 states.

Well, if you've seen the Obamaic logo they have on the website, you know they definitely need some help designing logos. ;)

I agree though. I think Schiff is supposed to be going on the Glenn Beck show (19th?), and if we email Glenn maybe he'll ask some questions about the push for him to run for Senate.

Unseating Dodd is going to be a little harder than you guys think. Dodd has the media in his back pocket and dont forget that. If you need any clearer example, remember how Paul was treated.

Its not going to be easy... but it can be done. The real question is if Peter really wants the job. Im pretty sure he would be taking a huge pay cut and working for a year solid on a campaign would be pretty darn hard too.

If he is down.. Ill send him at least $500 though. He is the best chance our movement has and it could re-energize our base if we actually WON something.

The point of the schiff2010.com site and the Political Exploration and Awareness Committee (PEAC) is to run as much of the campaign for him as possible...i.e. leave Schiff only to interviews and answering questions for the press. PEAC doing all the groundwork that he doesn't have time to manage. The grassroots campaign is not affiliate with an official campaign so we could do a lot more things a normal campaign cant (think about Ron Paul...his campaign was much more successful OUTSIDE the official campaign than within it)
