It's that time, folks! We need to ensure that the G.O.P. gets some sense and sanity right from the grass roots on up--and if you and I don't do it, who will? Please, please don't leave it to others--we've seen over and over what that gets us! Come on out, take charge of your precinct and help us get some good officers in charge for 2009!

If you can make it up to Green Country this Saturday, here's information on an educational meeting--they call it a primer--just for us. Hope to see you there!

Last year, we made some amazing progress in the Republican
Party. Thanks to the hard work of so many, we were able to
add planks to the Oklahoma Republican platform straight out
of Dr. Paul's playbook. If Oklahoma Republicans had their
way, we would have no more income tax, no more Federal
Reserve, our money would be gold and silver, the PATRIOT
Act would be repealed, and all foreign aid transfers would
be ended. On top of that, we had enough supporters at the
state convention to dispatch with a national committeeman
candidate who had compared Ron Paul supporters to Log Cabin
Republicans in favor of one who openly embraced the new
grassroots that is transforming the party into one that
will be responsible for getting liberty lovers elected to
state and federal office!

This year, the cycle begins anew with the precinct meetings
which, in Tulsa County, occur on Tuesday, January 27th.
This year, Sally Bell, a Ron Paul supporter who ran an
extremely close race for County Commissioner last year, is
now running for the Tulsa County Chair. Running with her
for vice chair is JB Alexander, chair of the Owasso
Taxpayer Alliance. These are two solid fighters for the
cause of liberty and they can only get elected if you
participate in the precinct meetings and county convention!

For some of you, this is a familiar process, but for many
of you, it is not. For those of you who are simply
befuddled by the convention process, or who have never
wanted to do anything related to a political party before,
we have just the event for you.

This Saturday, Cheryl Williams, the Oklahoma GOP Vice
Chair, will be coming to Tulsa to give a presentation on
the structure of the Oklahoma Republican Party and to
answer all your questions about the party and the
convention process. Bring all the questions with you that
you have always wanted answered, but didn't know who you
could trust to ask! Cheryl is dedicated to ensuring that
all activists have fair treatment in the Oklahoma GOP!

Date: Saturday, January 17th
Time: 7:00 PM
Location:
Headquarters
1008 N. Hickory Ave. Suite B
Broken Arrow, Ok. 74012

For those not all that familiar with B.A., you'll find this is just west of Elm (161st E. Ave.) and right off of Kenosha (71st St. S.). Take the Elm exit from U.S. 64/Ok. 51 and turn south. At Kenosha, turn right. Hickory is three blocks.

Please be advised of a Freedom conservative candidate running for the Broken Arrow School Board by the name of Patricia "Trish" Henley. With the recent events and crisis on the board she will help stabilize the issues. Her campaign director is Beth Snellgrove 918-695-8141. The election is near in February.
