I can't think of anything else.

PFFFTT!!!! Just kidding.
As completely asinine as this is, it's all a Bush supporter will ever say, although when you laugh in their face, they usually get either back down or get quite belligerent and bring up a whole pile of bullshit that has nothing to do with anything. Actually it's usually the latter. One good thing about Obama winning is that Right Wing news will (hopefully) stop fellating Bush and become more libertarian. Although frankly I'll believe it when I see it.

He maybe gone but he left a big stink. Also, Bush Sr. has it in his head that Jeb will run next for the presidency. He declined to run for the Senate *hint hint*.

Okay...I laughed out loud at this one.

He went after a terrorist country that technically didn't do anything to us..he ran the national debt up so high that our great grandchildren will still be paying it...he decimated the Constitution...he gave himself dictator like powers over the American people...he helped kill the economy...

OH...we were supposed to be telling things he did RIGHT...

Um...

Ummm....

I'm at a loss....He stayed mostly sober for 8 years?

It's sad that as a Republican I can't honestly name a single thing that I feel George Bush did right during his 8 years in office but when I go look in the book store I see almost an entire bookshelf dedicated to the constitutional/legal issues he's created (I just read "A Nation of Sheep" and "The End of America" for example).

He stopped partial-birth abortions.

The way Bush and the Republicans handled this was an abomination. When the Republicans controlled Congress in Clinton's 2nd term they presented him a partial-birth abortion ban every session, knowing that it would be vetoed and they could then go home to their districts and say "See...I'm pro-life!"

Even though I didn't vote for Bush in 2000 (voted Buchanan) I at least thought, "Well we'll finally get that partial-birth abortion ban passed". Then something really strange happened. The ban never got brought up again in Bush's first 3 years. It wasn't until the summer of 2004 that they enacted the ban. The Republicans purposefully delayed this ban for over 3 years so they could make it an election issue fresh in the minds of the pro-life voters.

Estimates say that 1000 babies may have been killed by this procedure a year. So for a few extra votes in 2004 the Republicans were willing to stand idle and let over 3000 babies die via this method?:mad::mad:

While we say goodbye to George, here's a challenge. Name something that George did right.

Honestly, I can't think of one thing that GW Bush did right. Even during a recent interview, he stated that it's time for Obama to do what he thinks is right. George, you still don't get it. No, it's NOT time for Obama to do what he thinks is right. It's high time for executives to do what the Constitution says is right. Got it? Good. Now leave both the Presidency and the US...we've had enough of you. Baghdad's US embassy might be a cozy winter retreat. You still have a few months left.

Well... He didn't COMPLETELY destroy the country. People still have HOPE.

HOPE and CHANGE unfortunately come in the form of socialism. On the bright side though, I guess one good thing is that he fucked up the country so much that Obama, and hence socialism, will be seen as unsuccessful. It may be a bumpy ass couple of years though.

This from LewRockwell.com

Fred Barnes continues the Neocon lovefest with Bush, reminding us in the Weekly Substandard that Bush really was a great president (http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/015/986rockt.asp?pg=1). Barnes lists 10 Great Things that Bush did in his eight years, including:

He stood against "global warming." (He did?)
"Enhanced interrogations" of "terrorists." (What the ancients once called torture.)
"The rebuilding of presidential authority." (Let none call it dictatorship.)
"Unswerving support for Israel." (What Israel wants, Israel gets.)
The No Child Left Behind Act. (Oh, yes, this legislative fraud is a mark of greatness.)
Promoting democracy abroad. (And destroying it at home, like his fellow Jacobins.)
"The Medicare prescription drug benefit." (Please, no. Not this one. Rove said passage would help ensure Republican dominance in government for decades, another Social Security Act. Gotta love these "political geniuses.")
"John Roberts and Sam Alito." (Of course. Why had I not thought about that? Two guys who believe in Government uber alles and are not afraid to rule that way.)
"He strengthened relations with east Asian democracies (Japan, South Korea, Australia) without causing a rift with China." (Yeah, and I bet they are soooo grateful to King George.)
"Finally, a no-brainer: the surge." (True, one does not need a brain to support the "surge." Glad we agree on something, Fred.)

So, there you have it. Greatness. You heard it first here on LRC.

You know, actually when he was campaigning in 2000 he didn't sound too bad. Kind of advocated a less interventionist foreign policy and such:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9SOVzMV2bc

Compare that rhetoric to what we actually got. Now ponder what we will really get from Obama, and his rhetoric is horrible.
