I want to know the seat is winnable first. I think that's the mistake we made with Lawson -- he was an awesome candidate and well funded, but the political demographics were just impossible.

That said, there is something to be said for running a campaign anyway, just for the educational benefits. Lawson accomplished a lot, even if he didn't win.

I couldn't even vote for him if I wanted to (and I don't particularly care to in any case), nor do I think throwing money at this cause only to have a disappointment on our hands is worthwhile. Also, I don't think Peter Schiff is a political animal. How effective could he be, nevermind would he be? Yeah, I'm cynical as hell.

YES Know, Let me point out... and it's in the history of this forum, CHris Dodd has been my "Public Enemy #1" The Corrupt Colluding Sellout to Wall St., Real Estate, & Banks, should be revealed as one of the biggest TRIATORS to the people. Not only would I donate the maximum to SHCIFF's campaign, I would use every contact to get support and donations, and work for the SCHIFF's campaign to roust DODD and his Destruction to the country.
