Absolute selective reporting.

There was one pro-Ron Paul letter. They said that Billgave him tough questions and shouted him down when he tried to answer. Bill said that when the guest "retreats" from his question with a history lesson, it is his policy to cut them off and shout them down. At least he admits he's an ashhole.

How many negative ones were there?

funny how Bill refuted how he was allegedly shouting down Paul but let the "foreign policy doesn't affect terrorism" thing go without criticism.

Well, he did read one criticizing his interviewing technique, but it just so happened he had a reply ready.

Well there's a shock.

Stop watching that dickheads show.

Or if you must watch it, just do so to find out who his sponsors are so you can avoid giving them your money.

There was one positive one that said Bill asked him complicated questions and shouted him down shortly after beginning to explain..

Bill went on to rebut that Paul went off on a history tangent so he got shushed.

Why do these people marginalize history so much... honestly? There has yet to be a question asked that hasn't been answered at some point in history, you've just got to find it, or at least acknowledge it.

That last thing was particularly disturbing. Took time to listen? I guess Don MacLeod never read Bin Laden's Fatwa.

BO's response: "interruption. that's the no-spin zone concept. please answer the question posed. there was no shouting unless, you sir, are a cocker spaniel"

It is also worth noting that the body language expert that was on just before the mail called Giuliani cocky and said he was trying to covertly manipulate the public.

not a single positive one...

Guys this is not at random, I am betting everything that I own, that there were more positive Ron Paul letters than negative ones. What they probably did, is they pick & choose the best negative ones, and choose 1 positive one, just so they can say they weren't bias, but they picked a weak one in favor of Ron Paul.

This is all setup, we all know this by now. O'Reilly has horrible ratings, and he is going down. True, Ron Paul didn't fare so well against him, but that is what happens when the host cuts you off, controls the mike, talks over you, and switches subjects constantly.

They're listening to what "Islamists are saying" through the mouths of the neo-con agenda.

If Bill would have took the time to look over Dr. Paul's past interviews, he may have realised that he wasn't trying to spin his answer. He was using history to show what he would do in certain situations. Oriely does this alot, and assumes that they are trying to put the spin on him. If he would have done his research, like you should do in a "debate", 'maybe' he would have took the time to listen to him...

Complex questions? Why shouldn't he be allowed to ask hard questions?

complex questions require complex answers... not something that can be said in 1 sentence before being interrupted

It's these that drive me absolutely nuts. He IS listening to them and to CIA Intelligence, foreign policy experts, the 911 Commission report, Paul Wolfowitz and the Chief of the frickin' CIA's bin Laden Unit. geez...

Going on that show for a foreign policy discussion is like going to an AA meeting trying to sell whisky.

Oh damn, I almost forgot the best part of O'Reilly's show tonight. There was one of those scrolls on the bottom of the screen saying that the Fred Thompson campaign was pissed off at the Mitt Romney campaign. Apparently some Romney supporters set up a fake website making Thompson look foolish.

Complex is probably how he shouldn't have worded it. Probably thoughtful questions that required more time without interuption would have been a better observation. Reminds me of Letterman's response to O'Reilly on youtube.

Paul is not "identifying our foreign policy as the cause of terrorism."

That statement is spun so much, it's useless.

Paul is saying that our foreign policy CONTRIBUTES to terrorism.... NOT causes it. There are other contributing factors as well, including poverty, radical education, living in a closed society, etc.

But among all the possible contributing factors of terrorism, that statement selectively takes one of them out of context to make Ron Paul look like some sort of kook.
