Seems I got myself into a little bit of a debate on Facebook. I happened to waltz into a thread by a "progressive libertarian" and decided to strike up a conversation. I tried my best to remain cordial and keep discussion on the topics at hand. I'm just looking for some feedback on my arguments right now. (I bet you can guess which one I am.) Thoughts?

On abortion:

Abortion is a states rights issue, not a federal issue. Each state can vote to either make it legal, illegal, or legal under certain conditions. This gives variety and diversity as to how the state is run by the people living there. More conservative states will make it illegal and more liberal states will make it legal.

Don't get trapped in the abortion debate trying to say the federal government should be this way or that way.

I wasn't saying the federal government should do anything. I did mention smaller entities when I said communities, but my point was to argue different ideas within the libertarian ideology.
