I found this (http://www.instructables.com/id/Worm_bin_bag_for_indoor_vermicomposting_and_easy_s/) on instructables. I think I'm gonna spend some of my Christmas loot and make one. I might even make a smaller one for my office too.

I tried raising a few worms, but I think I killed them on accident when I forgot to wash off store-bought produce scraps before feeding it to them. :( Poor things.
Hope your project works out!!

We had earthworms in a pot our spare tub for quite a while. We didn't build anything - we just layered paper, bardboard and dirt to get them started, as per another site I found. IIRC we had a smaller pot in a bigger pot to catch the good stuff.

They'll eat anything. We fed them all our table scraps, cardboard, eggshells....everything. It was amazing how much they eat.

But they need it dark. They really do not like light at all. I always thought keeping them under the kitchen sink would be great.
