Agree. His "more libertarian than conservative..." intro drives me crazy every time I hear it.

I used to listen to him quite habitually, but as I became more aware (Ron Paul ,Liberty/Freedom) I stopped listening as much.

I just finished listening to it. Ron Paul did very well. I actually like it when people challenge Dr. Paul on his positions. It makes for better radio. Let's face it, when allowed to answer, he makes sense.

Link for the Ziegler interview with Ron Paul is here:

It sounds like the neocons got to Ziegler, he really sounded like he was afraid of anyone who is muslim and thinks the only way to deal with terrorists is to invade each middle eastern country one by one.

Wow, I have a headache now. I'm imagining this will be the kind of argument you see from Fred Thompson. Totally irrational, fear-based arguments. According to this radio host we never make mistakes and we have infinite resources... as do the terrorists I guess since they will bomb all of our malls the second we leave Iraq.

do you notice the difference in how Ron Paul talks when he thinks its a libertarian crowd? ;) I like this better.

Wow I have never heard such blatant circular logic from someone. You would hear it more from O'reilly and Hannity but they never let people talk so they don't need to try and use their brain much. Ziegler let Ron Paul talk and he (Ziegler) had to resort to some really shitty arguments. Ziegler often said "I agree with that" and so it made it even harder for him to argue with any sort of logic when it came to his scare tactic BS arguments.

I loved it! :D

Firstly, great interview. Secondly, good observation. It seems that here Paul isn't so guarded and speaks frankly. When debating simpletons like Hannity and Giuliani, Paul must walk on eggshells to avoid ad hominem accusations of being un-American and unpatriotic.

Thanks. I just notice that he seems more comfortable among people that say they're libertarian.

The guys at Fred Thompson (http://fredthompsonforum.com) forums aren't going to like this, they take their arguements and rationality very seriously over there.
