One of my state's supreme court justices is a member, he called A.G. Mukasey a "tyrant" at a Federalist Society event, the one where Mr. Mukasey eventually passed out.

The Federalist Society is funded by member dues and by grants.

The society was begun by a group including Edwin Meese, Robert Bork, Ted Olson and Steven Calabresi, and its members have included Supreme Court justices Antonin Scalia, John Roberts, Jr. and Samuel Alito.[6]

I can tell you they ignored me when I wrote to them regarding the unconstitutional fiasco of the 2008 election.

True story, but in all seriousness, they are supposed to an organization that has its roots in the Constitution; a bevy of lawyers and students who are of the originalist mindset.

They often have personalities such as Justice Scalia as guest speakers.

Lol... Federalists ARE American politics, no need for a "Federalist Society".

The reason I ask is because the attorney who is the head of our local GOP is apparently a member.
